YOU are the COMMUNITY in the COMMUNITY Land Trust
The Southeastern Connecticut Community Land Trust (SE CT CLT) holds land for the development and stewardship of permanently affordable housing, land for food production, green space, and facilities for community organizations.
Members are the foundation of any CLT. Membership in the SE CT CLT empowers you to:
- Elect representatives
- Actively participate in your local chapter or region
- Help make decisions that affect your community and your CLT organization
- Become eligible for ownership of a SE CT CLT home
To become a member, you must:
- Attend a CLT Orientation
- Watch a 36-minute documentary about CLTs, “Homes & Hands”
- Pay $25 in annual dues (email us at info@sectclt.org to request that a portion of the membership dues be waived because of economic hardship)
